Friends of the Parks, Inc. is a non-profit citizens’ group established in 1985.
Atlantic County continues to expand our public properties and programs for all residents and the general public to enjoy. The Park System currently encompasses 7,400 acres which make up 18 active and passive recreation areas across the County.
The goal of Friends of the Parks is to assist in the continued growth of the Park System and its programs and to encourage visitors to get involved in all the natural, cultural, and recreational opportunities our Parks have to offer.
We organize and host family-oriented activities:
Outdoor Educational Programs for adults and kids; Guest Speaker Programs on local history and nature; Plein Air “Art in the Parks” event to highlight fine art and photography
We promote and provide support for:
Memorial benches; Hiking trail improvements; Bluebird & Purple Martin monitoring; Library of photography in the Parks; Clean-ups

To join please download and mail in the attached form or attend one of our monthly meetings.
Monetary memberships support Atlantic County Parks maintenance and yearly programming. Memberships start at 5$ for seniors and students. You do not need to make monetary donations to participate in Friends of the Parks meetings or programs.
